How it works
1. knowing your vision and story
This is where you and I meet to talk about your vision and story you'd like documented for your wedding or maybe some idea you've been holding onto that you want to see brought to light. We'll talk through the concepts and details so I can bring my best to you and show up ready for that special day or moment.
2. planning your experience
Once we have the details, I'll send you the contract and invoice so we can really start the prep work. I'll talk you through the nitty gritty of how my payment process works and work within your budget. I know weddings can be one of the biggest investments, and I want to make sure that I'm bringing my best work to you.
Once we are a month out for weddings, I'll send you an itinerary of our photography schedule that captures all of the big and small moments in between without taking away from you being present with all of your people.
3. documenting and reliving
This is the moment or the big day when I show up ready to document and tell your story. I'll direct you through the day so you know what's next, and I'll be your hype girl giving you endless support and guidance. I'll be directing but I'll also be working the shadows capturing all of those real, candid and soulful moments.
You'll then get to relive that day within 72 hours when you'll get a preview of some of those beautiful moments. After three months, you'll have full access to your images via online gallery.
FAQ
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
Come as yourself. That's all I ask! I want to capture the real you whether I'm shooting you by yourself, with your partner in a field, or I'm documenting your wedding day. I'll gently guide you as we navigate different poses and help you with recommendations on what to wear. I'll guide you through the whole process from booking your photoshoot to the final delivery. When we're documenting, we can put on some music, and create the best vibes for it to be a fun, casual shoot. On your wedding day, I'll be working behind the scenes documenting all of the best moments grabbing those raw intimate candids.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
This will vary for each shoot and where it's located. My goal is to not make the package more expensive through travel, so I'm always trying to find a friend that I can maybe stay with that's in the area or making the drive in a day if it's under 2 hours. If the location is over two hours or in another state / country, there will be additional travel costs but I do try to compensate but lowering the standard price if the travel costs tend to be high.
Can you recommend any locations?
I'll be recommending locations depending on the kind of scene you're looking for and how well I know the area. If it's a location that you may be more familiar with, we can talk about some locations that you may be envisioning. My mission is to capture the vision you have for your photoshoot and choosing the best scene for it.
